During the month of May, we will be offering this beautiful vertical of the 2018, 2019 and 2020 vintages. Each one such a different reflection of our vineyard and the growing conditions those years. Offered at $100 with $20 flat ground shipping. Curbside pickup also available.
2020 Yamhill Carlton “Rockstar” Pinot Noir – This wine displays black tea and earthy brambles and hints of red plums, graham crackers and Asian spices. It is delicious. Elegant and serene on the palate, complex and layered. Raised in primarily neutral oak barrels it is composed of 75% Pommard and a balance of Dijon clones 667, 777 and 115. 13.6% alcohol.
2019 Yamhill Carlton Pinot Noir – This wine has beautiful aromatics of sweet spice with lifted notes of raspberry and Japanese plums, framed with orange zest, black tea and cigar box. The wine is juicy on the palate with lots of raspberry and blueberry flavors, great minerality and elegant tannins. A blend of 60% Pommard, 25% Dijon 667 and 15% Dijon 777. Raised in 15% new French oak for 11 months. 13.7% alcohol.
2018 Yamhill Carlton Pinot Noir – This wine is generous, powerful and showing beautifully these days. A blend of 40% Pommard and 60% Dijon clones 667 and 777, this wine is dark, rich, with a beautiful balance of fruit, earth and spice. Raised in 20% new French oak for 11 months. 14.3% alcohol.
ATTICUS VINEYARD
The Vineyard which adheres to sustainable farming practices contains Willakenzie soils and sits at an elevation of 300 feet with a south / south-west facing slope. Planted with over 4 acres of Pommard (80%) and Dijon 667 & 777 clones (20%) in 2005, the first vintage from this vineyard was in 2008. Wines from this site tend to be powerful yet elegant. Atticus Vineyard is located in the Yamhill Carlton AVA.
Local curbside pickup available. $20 flat rate ground shipping within the continental US available at checkout. This package cannot be combined with other wine purchases and is excluded from any coupons. Taxes may be applicable.
